He decides to stay at an old house which is a bed-in-breakfast type of place owned by two sisters, Charlotte (Judith Ivey) and Lucy (Jennifer Jason Leigh). Charlotte is in and out of love with town sheriff, Cleve Doucet (Dennis Lipscomb) while Lucy becomes seductive and attracted to Matt.
